Profile
P. IMES Corp. was founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of IMES Japan. Its early executives were IBM retirees who shared a passion and vision for manufacturing high-technology products. P. IMES started with the production of CD-ROM drives for IBM. This initial experience in mass production provided its personnel with the confidence and readiness to face future challenges.
In 1995, after acquiring IBM’s expertise in large-scale manufacturing, P. IMES started producing backlight and TFT modules. These products were recognized by PEZA as pioneering activities. Through the years, P. IMES established manufacturing lines for PCB assembly, flexible printed circuits, and remote control receiver units. Soon after, customers recognized P. IMES as their extended manufacturing plant.
Numerous awards and recognitions were given to P. IMES by both the government and its customers, including the prestigious PEZA Top Exporter Award and Environmental Award. ISO certifications were also acquired as testimony to its consistent and controlled operational activities and processes.
Today, P. IMES has developed into a one-stop manufacturing company, delivering customer requirements from parts supply to complete assembly processes.
