October 2023: P.IMES Corp wins the Neon Run For A Cause
PIMES Corp. participated in the Cohu Philippines 8th year fundraising activity,
the Neon Run for a Cause, held on the night of October 14, 2023. The event is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that promotes a healthy lifestyle and inspires participants to improve their mental and physical health through running and exercise. The proceeds of the event benefit the Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc.
30 PIMES Corp. Runners participated in the event, competing in the 3K, 5K, and 10K races against over 300 participants from different Cohu Philippines business partners and friends.
PIMES Corp. runners achieved the following:
· 1st Place, 5K Male Category: Ferdie Lomboy
· 1st Place, 3K Female Category: Jho Bagnas
· 2nd Place, 10K Female Category: Joyce Sarabucin
The winners are all avid runners who were excited to participate in the event. They formed a group called the PJRC2023(PIMES Joggers & Runners Community 2023), underwent three months of training, running three to four times a week and joined several Fun Runs in preparation for
the Neon Run For A Cause.
The PIMES Corp. runners all agreed that the event was a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle and support a worthy cause. They are all committed to staying active and helping others.
